What is classed as binge drinking?

Binge drinking is classed as consuming more than 8 units of alcohol in a single session for men and 6 units for women. Binge drinking is when you drink too much alcohol in a short space of time. So, what is a sensible amount to drink? Men should not consistently drink more than four units of alcohol a day. For women the sensible limit is three units a day.
